Today I would like to welcome to RFTC author, Dixie Lee Brown. Dixie is celebrating the release of her book All or Nothing and has stopped by to chat. Please give Dixie a warm welcome.

Dixie has been writing stories for years, filing away ideas and first drafts of manuscripts in every spare closet and drawer. Then she decided she wanted to write more than anything in the world, pulled out one of those story ideas and got serious!

Dixie’s recently completed novel, All or Nothing, placed 3rd in the romantic suspense category of the 2011 TARA (Tampa Area Romance Authors) Contest. Currently, she is working on a new novel - If I Were You.

Guest Post with Author Julie Bale and Giveaway

Today I am so freaking excited to welcome author Julie Bale to RFTC. Words cannot express just how much I love this chick and her book The Stillness of You. Seriously, you guys gotta read this book, so damn good! Julie has stopped by today to chat about what makes a great book boyfriend. Please give Julie a warm welcome.

Julie Bale fell in love with book boyfriends when she was twelve. She decided that when she was a grownup she would write her own book boyfriends. So that’s what she does.

When Julie isn’t writing she’s busy looking after a family that includes a couple of kids, her husband and a dog who is prettier than some people she knows, and a cat who thinks he’s human.

She loves The Walking Dead, Pretty Little Liars, The Foo Fighters, Vampire Diaries, The Fray, and The Gilmore Girls. And when she has time, she loves to kick back and read yummy romances with hot guys and girls who are cool enough to hang out with.

Guest Post with Author Marisa Cleveland and Giveaway

Today I would like to welcome to RFTC author, Marisa Cleveland. Marisa is celebrating the recent release of her novella, The Valentine Challenge and has stopped by to share her top 10 words of inspiration. First, lets get to know Marisa a little.

Marisa Cleveland loves to laugh, hates to cry, and does both often. As a writer, she writes. Every day. If she couldn’t express herself through writing, music, and dance, she would die. Perhaps because she married her best friend, her adult romance novels focus on playfully naughty relationships developed through friendship and family-oriented values. She believes romance novels are the perfect “how to” books, because no matter the obstacles, the characters keep working toward their happily ever after.

Review: The Stillness of You by Julie Bale

There are just not enough words to express the amount of love that I have for The Stillness of You. This is definitely one of my favorite books that I've read in awhile, it's was just so damn good. I loved that The Stillness of You evoked so many different feelings in me. This is definitely not a fluff read. It's raw and gritty and at times very sexy.

When I met Georgia I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about her. She has an edge to her and knowing her background and where she has come from she could have quickly become a cookie cutout of bored rich girl. That definitely was not the case at all. This girl had me in knots and on the verge of tears throughout the story. She's not predictable and I found myself wishing and hoping that things would turn around for her. That she would get better and get her HEA with Ben. Oh how she broke my heart at times. I liked that we were able to see growth from her. It's not overnight and it's not a pretty road, but we are able to see a bit of light at the end of the tunnel for her.

As for Ben...there are just no words for him. I LOVED him. Seriously. He was such a good match for Georgia. Ben is good and sexy and knows what he wants and what he wants is Georgia. But it's not just physical for him. He wants to know her and find out what she's all about. I love that he is willing to do anything and everything for Georgia. Yet, he's is own person. Ben is no pushover, he just knows what he wants and isn't afraid to go after it.

I seriously loved these two and the chemistry between them is off the charts. From their first meeting you know that things are going to be heavy between them. They just meshed so well together. Yet the road to their HEA isn't paved in gold and it's not an easy journey. They both struggle throughout the book in trying to make things work out. I personally, loved the way things turn out.

Interview with Author KC Klein and Giveaway

Today I am so happy to welcome to RFTC author, KC Klein. Last fall I came across KC's book Texas Wide Open and it blew me away. Seriously, it was so freaking good and it left me an emotional wreck but in such a good way. But once I finally worked up the nerve to say hi, I just knew I had to have her come by the blog to chat. So please give KC a super warm welcome. =)

KC Klein has lived most of her life with her head in the clouds and her nose buried in a book. Her debut novel, Dark Future, is a finalist in the 2012 Prism contest and has been honored with a reviewer’s choice award. Her other titles include a science fiction romance anthology, Hotter on the Edge, and a new contemporary romance, Texas Wide Open. Interview with Author Kathryn Quick and Giveaway

Today I would like to welcome author Kathryn Quick to RFTC. Kathryn is currently on tour promoting the recent release of her book, Ineligible Bachelor and has stopped by to answer a few questions. Please give Kathryn a warm welcome.

Born long ago in a place not so far away, Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, Kathryn Quick has been writing since the Sisters in St. Casmir’s Grammar School gave her the ruled yellow paper and a number two pencil.  She writes contemporary and career romances, romantic comedies, historical romances
as well as urban fantasy.

She has been a member of New Jersey Romance Writers and Romance Writers of America since 1990 and considers it an honor to have been NJRW President in 1992 and 2001.  She is one of the founding members of Liberty States Fiction Writers, a multi-genre writers’ organizations dedicated to furthering the craft of writing and helping aspiring writers move onto publication.

Kathye originally wanted to be President of the United States or an Organic Chemist, but somehow life got in the way and she got married right out of high school and had a set of twins two years later.  The Presidency seemed out of reach and night school to get her Ph.D. to create new molecule that would ultimately result in the betterment of humankind seemed a little time consuming while trying to raise twins, so she decided to write instead.

In her "other" life, Kathye is married to her real-life hero Donald and has three grown sons all having adventures of their own and three “bonus” grandchildren.  She is a die-hard New Jersey Devils fan and works for Somerset County government (as close as she could get to the White House) and is plotting a novel about a new molecule that will ultimately result in the betterment of humankind.
